Kicked From an Offer

Yesterday I got word that I was officially removed from an offer. Wow, and what others have told me is true, this does suck. I have started to work a lot more closely with my Azoogle Advisor team on promoting good offers with good traffic and they actually told me last week that I was being removed from an offer but I somehow missed the email. Fortunately for me it turns out they didn’t disable my jumplinks and I still earned leads on the traffic I sent this weekend.

Kicked from my first affiliate offerSo how detrimental is this?

Well it stinks but its not horrible. I had been experimenting with a really cheap PPV traffic source and had found a pretty good niche with this one offer. Mind you I probably spent $100+ attempting to find profitable offers on the network. Ultimately I slightly tweaked this one and was able to be earning right about $100 a week with it. As you can see from my previous post, that is some good extra cash towards my goal! I could’ve potentially hit the $400 a month mark with this offer. Alas I was sending mass PPV traffic to it that resulted over the course of a month to about 40,000 hits with just 76 leads.

Was I rejected because of low quality or not enough conversions?

From what I was told the advertiser running the offer was kicking anyone sending PPV traffic out. The leads weren’t good enough quality. However my AZN Advisor also informed me that some companies pay Azoogle per impression (CPM model) as opposed to a CPA, even though they pay us CPA. This could very likely turn an advertiser’s expected web traffic into some trash PPV mass volume and end up costing them some cash so I can respect their decision for this.

What do I do now?

This was my BEST and only REALLY successful (in my mind) offer I had been able to promote, so I’m in a little pickle. Fortunately for me I was moving full steam so I still have a lot of energy and excitement to put fourth some other offers.

What about you guys, have you been kicked from any offers yet?

Mike,

In the future try building a landing page to the offer. In the end the 'offer' page will have MUCH less traffic to it, but if you do it right, you will make more money and convert much better.

Have you tried that yet?

Yeah I openly told them I was direct linking and I could setup a landing page that would help target the traffic more but they said they didn't want ANY PPV traffic because others were sending it and no matter direct or lander it was bad traffic to them.

This was a contextual PPV advertising so I had a short window to get them interested/convert so direct landing worked best. I had similar CTR but 0 leads when I attempted at the beginning to use the regular lander (minus the lead form) that would link to the lead form. That extra click was just too damn much lol.

Mike, other networks may have similar offers. Offers202 inside tracking202 might help find them.

Slave did I ever mention you are a GENIUS!?! OfferVault showed 3 other groups with the same offer. One of them has it at $.40 more per lead! Unfortunately they also don't accept contextual traffic which means I'm running email submit auto responders all weekend, uggggh.

Lol. See how it works.. I had never heard of OfferVault… Neat site.

And I've never heard of "email submit autoresponders".. Sounds like funneling leads from your web-based landing page to an offer via e-mail – or e-mailing folks back…

Learn something new every day here.
